Mahendran is displeased with Shobha’s posting, as Prajas approaches him pledging to forget his political affiliation and join Mahendran’s union if he is relieved from control room duty. Meanwhile, Shobha notices that Mahendran is not in office and marks a half-day against his attendance, infuriating him.
